I wonder whether any of our political parties will give any mention to St. Edmunds Day this year? I very much doubt the main ones will but I will have a trawl around the BNP and sites of the English parties over the next 24 hours and see if they give recognition to this day.

No chance. Don't waste your time. They're loathe to mention St.George, let alone poor Edmund.
