| Description | The original concept for the League of St. Edmund (LOSTE) was born in 2006 by loose pockets of patriots with an interest in Anglo-Saxon issues and English independence. However LOSTE lay undeveloped for a number of years, yet the cause never died in the hearts of those it was dearest to. Three years later, around St. Edmund's Day 2009, LOSTE was finally born again, with the official relaunch being the 20th November 2009, very appropriately being St. Edmund's Day). LOSTE is a campaigning organisation of English patriots seeking independence for England from the United Kingdom, European Union and other outside influences. LOSTE seeks the restoration of traditional values in society and the reinstatement of St. Edmund as the true Patron Saint of England and the White Dragon flag as the official flag of England. LOSTE opposes Islamic extremism and seeks to awake the nation of its Anglo-Saxon culture. LOSTE is not a political party, yet we do have a set of Ideals which those that seek adoption have to be in agreement with and an Oath of Allegiance which they need to swear by if they wish to become a Brother or Sister of the League. To become a Brother or Sister is free as long as you agree to these terms. Our Ideals and Oath of Allegiance can be found elsewhere on this website. LOSTE aims to rally the folk of England to the English cause with organised units throughout the country dedicated to liberating our nation and installing our Ideals. Each Unit is autonomous as we feel by sharing the same Ideals and swearing the same Oath of Alegiance we are one family. Information on gatherings and activities is shared via our forum. LOSTE seeks to incorporate the England of olde into a new independent English nation, embracing England's Anglo-Saxon and in some areas even elements of Celtic culture in creating a new, free English nation. If you accept our Ideals and are a patriot seeking to liberate and rediscover our nation, then we welcome your application to become a Brother or Sister of the League of St. Edmund. |
